2 week update

Monday night I was my last fever. Thank goodness. It was so nice, my mom was able to come and spend a few days with us. She was so much help. Thanks, Mom!

Wow, I can't believe that he's 2 weeks old already. He's just brought so much love and joy to our lives. Here's some more pictures. Mommy seems to be a little camera happy so expect a lot of posts :)

Happy 1st Halloween Brayden!!!

Welcome Brayden Joel Coppin!!!

Brayden made his debut on Monday, October 17th at 8:49pm. He came in weighing 7lbs/15oz and 21 1/2 inches long. Good thing we were 9 days early, otherwise he might have been a pretty big baby :) He is so beautiful, if we don't say so ourselves. I think he looks like both Joel and myself. He's perfect!! It's so amazing to finally meet the little person that you have been carrying around for so long. It's such an unforgetable experience!

All Brayden's grandparents, his uncle Bryce, and great grandma Mary were there to welcome him to the world. They were all anxiously awaiting his arrival, this is the 1st grandchild both both families and great grandchild for all but my grandma Helga (#24)!

We were scheduled to go home on Wednesday night but Tuesday night I had spiked a fever of 101 and we needed to stay at least 24 hrs w/o another spike. My fever would come and go so I was hooked up on antibiotics and we FINALLY were able to come home on Friday. They didn't know why m temp was spiking b/c everything came back negative, perhaps a virus of some sort. Joel was a "SUPER" Dad and husband taking care of us. That's why we were unable to post the GREAT news until this morning. Last night was our first night at home and it went pretty well. His great aunt Cindy Domres stopped by to welcome him home.

Please check out more pictures of Brayden and family at:

37 Week Tummy Update!

Wow, we are Full Term now and I am huge!! It could happen at any time. Very exciting but a little scary too. We are ready for him to come. The time has really flown by fast. It's hard to believe that I found out on my birthday back in February and it's already October. When we found out it seemed like 40 wks would never come! I hope he comes early so that I can put him in a cute little Halloween costume........I am thinking he could be a little pumpkin or something. Maybe if he gave me a hard labor he will be a little devil, we'll see.

Brayden's Room

Here's a quick pic of his bedroom. It was hard to get it all in one shot so this was the best I could do. He has a vintage cowboy room (above the crib the sign says "Sweet Dreams Little Cowboy" and the frames are made of old barn wood which I will put black and white photos of him sleeping when he gets here). It's really cute so if you want to see it all you have to come and visit! The weekend of the 23rd we had my family and Joel's mom and grandma Mary come to help get it ready as well as the basement. We couldn't have done it without their help!! Thanks guys!!
